This sheltered bay in Jersey’s North East is a tempting swimming spot with sun-dappled pebbles and calm waters. At low tide your children can explore hidden rock pools on this small stretch of pebble beach and skim stones on turquoise waters. At high tide the sand is covered, so be sure to time your adventure just right. There is parking on site, but it is limited, so arrive early to secure your spot. The beach is sheltered from western winds but loses the sun in the late afternoon, but stay a while longer for an evening picnic and dip at high tide. Archirondel also has a fantastic beachside café, showers and facilities just minutes from the beach.
